Party City has a huge selection year-round of Hawaiian themed party supplies. A luau party can easily be set up in your own backyard. For older girls starting at age 10, you can set up a volleyball net in your backyard along with other games you might play on the beach. If you have a pool in your backyard, ask your guests to bring swimsuits with them. If you are feeding your guests, you can do a cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs. You can make some "tropical" smoothies like strawberry, banana, pina colada, etc. Find some festive trays and you can make a tropical fruit salad!

Activities:

Small Children:

Small children can easily get board so it's a good idea to at least have activity ideas in mind so you can keep the party going! Ask your guests to bring bathing suits and play in the sandbox or play in the pool for a beachy feel. If your having a pool party it's a good idea to ask parents to hang around or ask a few to help supervise. Kids might want to get in and out of the pool so if your at a community pool, your going to need to bring some travel activities.
  • Bring a few beach balls
  • Hawaiian themed coloring sheets
  • Sand Art

Frozen Party

Disney's Frozen themed Party

Disney's Frozen has been a popular movie since its release in 2013. Some people can't just Let it Go. Weather your hosting a winter party or a birthday party, here are some ideas on how your party can be a hit!

Goody bags:

Most of the items I have below are from oriental trading.
Here's a link to their webpage on winter:

Ana bracelet and Elsa necklace (sold separately)

Decór:

Frozen decorations isn't that hard to find.
You can use winter themed decorations too
given Frozen's setting. I found some great
cardboard cutouts of the Frozen characters
on Oriental Trading. You can use them as
photo booth props too. They're $35 a piece
so you'll probably have to pick a favorite.

Hunger Games Party

Hunger Games Party

A Hunger Games party can seem a little difficult to plan
because there aren't a whole lot of activities you can do.
Here are a few ideas to help you with planning a party
about a book with a hard plot to plan a party around.

Party Favors:

With such limited options
it's hard to find some good
party favors. Here are
some ideas:

-An iPhone/Samsung case
-A mockingjay pin
-The movie(s)
-The CD(s)
    *For a goody bag,
      turn a Hunger Games
      T-shirt into a bag

Activity:

the kids probably
won't want to be
doing a ton of
activities anyway.
So, just watch one
of the movie. (PG-13)
